The Municipal Court processes Class C misdemeanors resulting from a violation of City ordinances and traffic citations. Defensive driving, payment arrangements, community service, and deferred adjudication are programs provided to assist defendants in bringing their cases to final disposition.
The Court is presided over by a part-time Municipal Judge who is appointed by the Robinson City Council, and the City Attorney prosecutes all cases in Municipal Court.
The Municipal Court office is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Open Court is held weekly on Thursday beginning at 3 p.m until 4 p.m.
Pre-trials are held every other month, with the City Prosecutor. Pre-trial appearance dates and times are provided once a signed plea form has been received by the court.
