Police Department

Robinson Police Department provides 24-hour service to the 30 plus square miles within the city limits. There are 23 full-time commissioned officers, 3 reserve officers, 9 full-time and 1 part-time civilian personnel. Chief of Police Phillip Prasifka has over 33 years of law enforcement experience as a commissioned peace officer.

The department has adopted a community policing philosophy and offers a wide range of crime prevention services. A fully enhanced 911 dispatch center is manned around the clock by certified law enforcement telecommunications personnel. A full-time animal control officer works out of the department.
