Work has started on Lyndale to extend the sewer line across the road. A portion of Lyndale will be closed but they will keep one lane open for residents, Robinson ISD staff, and students who need access to this area.
The City is partnering with a developer to install an 18-inch sewer line across Lyndale and Tate. This partnership will save the City around $150,000 and is the 2nd step in re-routing the flow on the South Pond Lift Station. By re-routing the flow, it increases the capacity for new development and reduces some of the sewer issues around town.
Work on Lyndale is anticipated to begin the week of July 9th with work on Tate possibly beginning a couple of weeks after that. Expect detours and road closures while this line is being installed. The goal is to have this project finished up before school starts and we will continue sharing information as we receive it.
