Chlorine Conversion

Chlorine Conversion; December 2,2019 - January 2, 2020

The City of Robinson will convert our water treatment from chloramines to free chlorine beginning December 2nd to January 2nd. This is a temporary change to the treatment process referred to as a chlorine conversion. This process is used to improve the quality of water being served to our customers and ensure it is free of biofilm growth. During this process, there may be some brief taste and odor changes, but there are no associated health risks. If you have any questions you can call Greg Hobbs, Director of Utility Systems, at (254) 662-1415.
