In the City of Robinson there are approximately 82 miles of streets and of the total 82 miles of streets:

  • 42 miles are currently in poor to unacceptable condition requiring reclamation or reconstruction
  • 24 miles are approaching poor condition in the next few years
  • 6.8 miles have been reclaimed or reconstructed since 2016
  • 3 miles are scheduled for reclamation or reconstruction in 2019

The City, along with our consulting engineers, is developing an aggressive Pavement Management Program. One of the biggest challenges municipalities face is the ability to secure adequate resources and funding necessary to effectively maintain a Pavement Management Program, while working with extremely challenging soil and subgrade conditions, while sustaining the maintenance, operations, and growing needs of all other areas within our community.
