At the April council meeting, the council awarded B-Crop Utilities the S. Old Robinson Road/Johnson waterline relocation project contract. The project includes the installation of a new waterline that crosses Hwy 77 near the intersection of S. Old Robinson Road and continues down S. Old Robinson Road to Downsville Road. The project allows the city to abandon the old problematic waterlines that cut across the Johnson property. They will install waterlines and replace problematic ones along Loop 340, Hwy 77, Adrian, and Sunbird. This project continues our efforts to replace inadequate or problem lines and allows us to make considerable strides in replacing some of our most significant issues within the system.
B-Corp will begin potholing to locate existing water lines on East Adrian tomorrow, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, and has already started moving equipment into the area. They will work East Adrian, from Hwy 77 to Lux, and move over to Sunbird afterward.
