Ruth Drive is a rough pot hole infested gravel and dirt road which runs from the cross road of 1300 E. Stegall Drive to a DEAD END at 129 Ruth Drive. At the entrance of 1300 E. Stegall Drive @ Ruth Drive there are street signs, but in order to hold down unnecessary vehicular traffic. With new building of family homes with several small children in the area and on Ruth Drive specifically we consider a DEAD END sign a safety tool which would turn back vehicles that ordinarily drive down the road just to turn around either at a dead end or in our pasture land. It is our hope you can see the necessity for a DEAD END sign at that location. The entire road length is temporarily repaired by the residence living on the road by grating with small lawn tractor tools. But that has proven to be only a temporary fix. With the residential vehicular and heavy trash truck traffic and weather which erodes the surface both large and small potholes have to be navigated around to avoid damage to vehicles.

Robinson to hold market days like surrounding cities such as Belton, Temple ie... Residents can set up booths such as homemade items, fresh vegetable, antiques, crafts and MLM.
1. It will bring in additional revenue for the city with each vendor paying to "set up shop".

With all the new homes being built, some of these homes have additional acreage and use it to dump water heaters, drainage pipes, park boats or other vehicles or equipment allowing weeds and high grass to grow around these dumped items as well as other bulky debris within sight of the roads and streets which surround their location. If the city were to impose and enforce dumping restriction's the amount of trash or discarded debris would be eliminated. If there is already a ordinance implemented I would like to see it enforced.

There should be at least a 5K run quarterly. Maybe a Kick off the New Year 5k, Spring Into Action 5k, Memorial Weekend 5k, Jingle Run. The route for previous 5Ks worked great!

Robinson is experiencing great growth in residential - commerce. With growth of the surrounding community I 've observed there is a small building for Senior citizens to gather and none for their activities, recreation or fitness. It would be good for seniors to have a new facility which also features an aquatic area which is for seniors who are not as nimble as younger citizens who frequent the community swimming pool during summer. The community pool isn't geared for seniors as restricts full length swimming or exercising. Some seniors require transportation into Waco or other rural areas instead of using facilities closer to home. The current location has limited parking. It could be operated as a multi-purpose space also equipped with the latest audio-visual systems and lighting is suitable for a wide range of other uses including various types of receptions, exhibitions, AARP or similar workshops and events partitioned off to provide up to 5 separate spaces for rentals etcetera!

Nothing says "We are indifferent" like leaving roadkills on the streets of town. Every ACO since the late '90s did it - what's changed? Every week, it doesn't matter what street - N. or S. Robinson Dr. or any of the other street, we see dead animals rotting away day after day. Any animal from squirrel and rabbit-sized on up needs to be removed and quickly. And we shouldn't have to call - the ACO should be pro-active and get out there, turn on his/her emergency lights, and scrape them up and dispose of them. Police Officers and City workers in their vehicles all have radios - they can call t hem in. If I were a business person considering relocating to Robinson, this sort of thing reeks of indifference and apathy. The City can do better.

This May Be A Good Idea For Christmas 2017. Besides having a string desire for my new hometown to begin a Curbside Recycling Program that someone has already suggested, I would love to see the City of Robinson have a Christmas tree recycling program where there would be a 2 week period of time that residents could drop off their trees at a centrally convenient location, that would be turned into mulch & later made available to the residents on a first-come, first-served basis at a later date. Of course, no flocked trees can be allowed and all decorations, bags, tinsel, ornaments, lights, plastics, nails and stands must be removed from the trees to avoid potential injury to the workers and to ensure clean, quality mulch.

It would be a great idea if and when the Lyndale Street in the school zone would also have sidewalks put in for the students safety.

I moved here from the city of Waco that does have curbside recyle containers that are picked up every other week. Robinson doesn't offer any such service, but the need is still out there. I tried taking recycleables to the Brookshire Grocery Store, but their containers are too small. Large metal containers could accommodate the city if they are clearly marked, plus this would help reduce garbage taken to the landfills whose space is becoming a precious commodity.

a new 13u and up baseball field. For RLL league ball and other leagues or teams to use. Our current field on Old Robinson Dr. is very old. This field needs new fencing, new dug outs, new scoreboard and currently doesnt have lights for night games. There is very little parking and at times foul balls hit near by homes. In the afternoons the sun sets right behind home plate making it impossible for players to see. The concession stand is in bad shape as well. This is a great community with alot of kids who play baseball until they graduate high school. These kids deserve a nice field that fits their needs. It can also bring in a little revenue by charging teams a rental fee for day use, or weekend or week use. This has been needed for years. Lets find a way we can make this happen for the youth of Robinson. Thanks.

Some residents just put out signs but don't advertise. It would just be very helpful for everyone.
