McLennan County Precinct 1 and Commissioner Jim Smith are hosting a Tire Amnesty/Trash Day on Saturday, October 1st, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Road & Bridge Yard (110 Pilgrim Lane, Lorena, TX). This is a great way to dispose of your household trash. Six tires max per household, oil, grease, brush, and trash are all accepted. No paint or other hazardous materials will be accepted. Be prepared to unload your items into the roll-off dumpsters. For questions, call (254) 759-7555.
